Support for young participants at various conferences


Recipients :
In 2006, EMS announced Young Scientist Travel Awards for ten conferences and seminars which have supported students from 10 different countries: Croatia (1), Czech Republic (1), Finland (1), France (2), Germany (3), Italy (1), The Netherlands (1), Russia (1), Spain (2), UK (1). Also the EMS Media Award has been announced in 2006 and been presented to a broadcast meteorologist from USA.


6th EMS Annual Meeting and 6th ECAC, Ljuljana, Slovenia, 4-8 September 2006

Four of these awards were awarded together by EMS and COST.
