Research Interests : Behavioural, sedimentological and palaeoecological aspects of vertebrate ichnology
His main topics of interests is the formation and preservation of vertebrate tracks, especially the influence differences in substrate consistency and walking gait has on the morphology of the tracks, and their mode of preservation.
His methods comprises, study and description of fossil footprints, examination of footprints in cross section and experimental and comparative work with extant animals.
